The Wall Gallery Competition at Maerokoco is an engaging and meaningful event that promotes creativity while raising awareness of important national issues. This competition invites participants to create compelling wall magazine (mading) displays that illustrate how Indonesia utilizes its national debt within government policy. By integrating art, information, and teamwork, the event helps junior high school students understand a topic that is often perceived as complex.

In addition, the competition promotes an educational approach that is both enjoyable and practical. Participants are encouraged not only to study through books, but also to explore concepts, share their knowledge, and express their ideas creatively. The objective extends beyond winning the competition; it also aims to foster critical thinking and increase awareness of how the country manages its finances. On December 13, 2025, the Inveskids program launched a competition themed “Smart Kids, Smart Spending” to educate students about managing their personal finances. Jonathan Calvin Santoso is the founder of Inveskids. The program was open to elementary school students throughout Semarang and aimed to introduce basic financial concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.

Through this competition, students learned how to manage their money wisely by understanding the difference between needs and wants, as well as how to make responsible spending decisions rather than acting impulsively. The competition reflects Inveskids’ commitment to promoting financial literacy among elementary school students by providing meaningful learning experiences that support both personal growth and the development of practical life skills.

Inveskids believes that financial education is an essential skill that should be introduced at an early age, as it helps students grow into financially literate, independent, and responsible individuals who are capable of making wise decisions for their future success.
