Students at Jatingaleh 01 Elementary School participated in an engaging learning activity designed to introduce them to the basics of selling used items. The program aimed to increase students’ financial awareness while also encouraging saving habits. As part of the activity, students brought used items from home to school to be sold.

During the program, teachers and the Inveskids team guided students in understanding that items they no longer use can still have value and can be turned into money through effective selling. The proceeds from the sales were deposited into each student’s personal savings account, teaching them the importance of financial responsibility and future planning.

This interactive approach not only encouraged entrepreneurial thinking, but also helped students develop teamwork and responsibility as they worked together toward a shared educational objective. In addition to promoting financial literacy, the activity provided students with valuable life skills that will support their personal development in the future.

Overall, the program gave students a meaningful understanding of the importance of saving money and practicing environmental awareness by reusing and selling secondhand items. As a result, the activity became a memorable and valuable part of the learning experience at Jatingaleh 01 Elementary School.
