Message from the Founder:
“Our goal is to build a strong foundation of financial literacy for children from an early age. By blending clear, accessible explanations with real world examples, this book demystifies how to save, spend, and make sound financial decisions. We aim to inspire students to cultivate responsible money habits, giving them the confidence to manage their personal finances and unlock a brighter, more secure future.”
Calvin
We created Saku-in App to create a fun learning experience for kids to learn about financial literacy. More than 5000 students from different cities across Indonesia have downloaded Saku-In App and interacted with it. Saku-in App used gamification user interface to increase the students’s engagement with the app and enhance their learning experience.
PUBLICATION
Our founder, Calvin, conducted a study with the title “Evaluating Financial Literacy App Saku-in: TELOS-Based Assessment and Gamification Impact Study.” The study was aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Saku-in application in enhancing financial literacy among Indonesian students aged 6–15 years. The high feasibility of the application based on the TELOS Framework indicates that the Saku-in application is considered worthy of further development with an average TELOS score of 7.45. The integration of gamification elements (such as points and badge systems) was proven to significantly increase children’s engagement in learning to save money. Users of the gamified version visited the application an average of 11.31 times, far higher compared to the non-gamified version, which recorded only 5.71 visits during the 28-day trial period. In addition, usability testing showed a very high task success rate of 92.75%, indicating that the application was easy for children aged 6–15 years to understand, although it still requires dynamic content updates.
ABOUT INVESKIDS
Troubled by the lack of financial literacy among young people in Indonesia, teenager Calvin noticed a recurring pattern: younger children frequently overspend on things they don’t need. To fix this, he is on a mission to teach them smarter spending habits. His primary focus is introducing the concept of saving at a young age, believing it is a critical life skill that prepares children to successfully reach their future goals.
OUR TEAM
We have assembled a team of dedicated professionals from diverse backgrounds who share a strong commitment to advancing financial education for students. Through our collective expertise, integrity, and dedication to continuous improvement, we strive to develop accessible and impactful educational programs that enhance financial literacy among children, particularly elementary school students, from an early age.
